Terms of Business

These terms apply to all work carried out by RJ Property Visuals ("we", "us"), run by Raphael John, for estate agents, landlords and homeowners ("you"). By booking a shoot you agree to these terms.

Bookings

A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the date, time and services with you by phone, email or WhatsApp. Please tell us about access arrangements and anything we should know about the property when you book.

Prices

Prices are as shown on our Services page at the time of booking and depend on the size of the property. We'll confirm the price before the shoot. Any extra work you ask for on the day will be agreed with you first.

Payment

• We send an invoice once your photos and media have been delivered.
• Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice.
• For business customers, we may charge interest and compensation on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
• We may hold further bookings until overdue invoices are paid.

Cancellations and rescheduling

• You can cancel or move a booking free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice.
• If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a £30 cancellation fee applies.
• If we can't get into the property when we arrive, or it isn't ready to photograph and we have to come back, a £30 call-out fee applies.
• If bad weather stops exterior or drone work, we'll rebook it at no extra cost.

Preparing the property

Please make sure the property is ready when we arrive: worktops cleared, beds made, bins and personal items out of sight, cars off the driveway and pets out of the way. If needed, we can move furniture or valuables to get the best shots, and we'll always put everything back where we found it. Please let us know if there's anything you'd rather we didn't touch.

Delivery

Edited photos and media are delivered within 24 hours of the shoot through a private online gallery. Same-day delivery can be requested for £10. Where our schedule allows, it will be delivered the same day. If that isn't possible, it will be delivered within the standard 24 hours and the £10 won't be charged.

Use of photos and media

• RJ Property Visuals keeps the copyright in all photos, video, floor plans and tours we produce.
• Once your invoice is paid, you may use them to market the property they were taken for: on property portals, your website, brochures, window displays and social media.
• They may not be sold, passed to another agent or company, or used for any other property without our written permission.
• We may use the images in our own portfolio and marketing, without showing the property address.

Drone work

Drone flights are carried out by a CAA-licensed pilot in line with CAA rules. Flights depend on the weather, airspace restrictions and safety on the day, and we'll let you know in advance if drone work isn't possible.

EPCs

Energy Performance Certificates are produced by a qualified assessor and lodged on the official government register. The rating depends on what can be seen and checked at the property, and on any documents you can provide, such as proof of insulation or new windows.

Our responsibility

We're fully insured and take care at every property. We're not responsible for delays or problems caused by things outside our control, such as weather, illness, travel disruption or problems with access to the property.
